In our Older Toddler Room your children are busy learning all about their world! Our teachers engage our young friends in fun learning all day long. This classroom especially loves to do arts and crafts and work with their hands. They typically will complete one new art project each day based on their theme of the week.
When your child first arrives in this classroom, we have many fun centers open for playtime. This helps each child adjust from the transition from home to school. After breakfast, story time is a great way to introduce the children to the theme of the week. Circle time includes great songs, dancing, numbers, alphabet identification, and other interesting activities to engage each child.
Afterward, your child will head out to the playground for their own age and abilities. Learning centers start after the children come back in, and they are filled with fine motor and gross motor activities such as puzzles, Lego’s, blocks, balance beams, coloring, painting, books and more!
