Hello Parents,

We are so very excited to say that we are OPEN!!! It’s been a while since we last saw your children’s smiling faces and we miss them dearly. Openings at the center have become available and we are eager to fill them with wonderful children, so please contact us as soon as possible to register or schedule a tour.

At Creative Kids of Downingtown, we recognize the important role our center plays in providing exceptional care and education for your children, a safe and supportive environment for our teachers and employees, and service and commitment to the community in which we operate.

We continue to monitor and adhere to all guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and U.S. government to ensure that we are taking all necessary preventative measures and acting on each directive that affects our center.

We have always maintained the highest standards in cleaning and safety protocols for our center, and we know that keeping it clean and sanitized is even more important now. In addition to our daily cleaning and sanitizing efforts, we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing in our center throughout the day, including deep cleaning procedures. Our teachers and employees will also be wearing masks and social distancing will be maintained. Our center is also now equipped with a staff attended, isolated, wellness room to care for any child, teacher or employee that exhibits any COVID-19 symptoms until they or the child’s parent can bring them home. We want you to feel comfortable that we are working diligently to provide a safe and healthy environment where your child spends their day.

Preschool Teacher

Hi, I’m Ms. Dolly. I have been a teacher at Creative Kids since February 2021. I am an engineer and management professional by training; but after a few stints in the IT industry, and later parenthood, I realized that my true calling is teaching. I love being with kids, guiding and nurturing them, and have been fortunate to be able to do that as a teacher for more than 2 years. Currently I am pursuing my CDA certification to strengthen my skills in Early Childhood Education. I live in Downingtown with my husband and my 13-year-old son. I love art, blogging, writing, traveling, movies and spending time with family and friends. I have published a novel- The Whispering Silence in 2018. I look forward to a great year with your child.

My name is Ms. Cindy. I have been teaching for about 35 years. I have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Harcum College. This is my first-year teaching at Creative Kids. I am married and have 3 grown boys. The youngest still lives at home and attends Purdue University. In my free time I enjoy baking, going for walks with my husband, traveling, and hanging out with my boys when they come to visit. I am very excited to have a great year with your child as we prep for kindergarten!

Hi, my name is Brooke. I have been working in childcare for the past 5 years. I have my CDA in infants and toddlers. I am a local here in from Downingtown and grew up in a large family of 9 adopted brothers and sisters. Growing up in a large family gave me a passion to want to work with children. I am also fluent in American Sign Language. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, dancing, and hanging out with family and friends. I’m proud to be a part of the Creative Kids team!

Hi! My name is Miss Taryn and I have been working with young toddlers at Creative Kids since 2019. I am an Early Childhood Education major obtaining my Associates from DCCC with plans to transfer to West Chester University for my Bachelors Degree in ECE. I am passionate about furthering my studies in child development and early education so that I can continue to strengthen my abilities as a caregiver and educator. I am dedicated to caring for all children in a loving and supportive environment, while also using every opportunity possible to promote learning and enhance all domains of their development. I believe that children learn best when they are being taught in a nurturing and inclusive environment and with a holistic approach to both their education and overall well-being. I have two children of my own, who are my entire world! Together we have a dog and two cats. As a family we love spending our summers in Cape May, and enjoy hiking and exploring local trails, and everything Disney! I look forward to welcoming you and your child into our classroom community and helping them transition from infancy to toddlerhood!

Hi I’m Christina. I have been at Creative Kids since Summer 2016. I work mostly in the office, as well as help in the classrooms whenever is needed. I have been around kids my entire life from teaching Sunday school to babysitting. I have a bachelor’s degree in Communications and am half through my MBA. My favorite part of this job is meeting new families and getting to know the ones that are currently here. Genuinely speaking everyone here feels like family from the teachers, to the kids, to the parents. I love having my three boys here at the center because I get to see them learn and grow through the amazing staff we have. Every day brings something new and I enjoy living each day of my crazy life.

Hi I’m Kelsey. I have been at Creative Kids since January 2011. I have worked with infants through kindergarten and enjoy working with all ages. I am currently working with Preschoolers and enjoy our conversations and teaching them about the foundations of life. I have a background in dental hygiene yet could never see myself leaving the childcare industry because I enjoy being around children. I have a son who is my world. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors and just having a good time.

Creative Kids of Downingtown Child Care Center is Licensed by the PA Department of Human Services as a Child Care Facility. Additionally, we are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a Private Academy to provide Care and Education for the children of our community.

We strive to help each child achieve their greatest potential throughout their creative years. We believe that children learn best when their physical and psychological needs are met. With over 30 years experience raising children, both ours and yours, we are proud of our achievements, but more importantly, the achievements of the children we have helped raise. We have helped guide children in our care so they could achieve their maximum potential and become valued members of our community.

We have been involved in the education and growth of thousands of children. Some have gone on to further their formal education by becoming Teachers, Nurses and Engineers. One of our past students recently passed the New Jersey Bar Exam and is a Practicing Attorney at Law. He is joined by another distinguished graduate of our program who went on to graduate from Medical School and is now a successful Osteopathic Doctor of Medicine.

Children in our care have gone on to attend Chester County Community College, Delaware County Community College, Neumann University, Arcadia University, West Chester University, Tampa University, University of South Florida, Osceola Community College, Villanova University, Drexel Law School, Villanova Law School and Nova Southeastern School of Medicine.

We do what we do better than any other center in our area. We Love, Care For, and Educate children. We are proud of our results, and confident you will be proud also, as you watch your child blossom into their full potential, here at Creative Kids.

Fall is Finally Here!!!
We are excited to kick off the 2021-2022 school year. We said goodbye to old friends who have moved on to elementary school and we welcome our new families to our center. Our Creative Kids Family has grown to near capacity. We have only a few limited enrollment opportunities. Please call to register for Summer classes 2022! If you are EXPECTING or PLANNING FOR a new baby, call us NOW. Our Spring Baby Classes have extremely limited spaces available. Don’t miss out on the Best Infant Care available anywhere!!!

As you can see, Creative Kids is located just a few minutes off of the Route 30 Bypass. This gives convenient access to our site by families from Parkesburg and Coatesville heading East, all the way to Exton. For these families, it takes LESS THAN 10 MINUTES to exit at Route 340, visit our center, then return to Route 30 via Route 322.

Or, If you live North on Rt. 322, 100, or 113, simply head south to our facility. We service all families from Applecross to West Chester and everywhere in between.

No matter where you call home in Chester County, we are just a few minutes away……….and, check our tuition rates……….the short difference in drive times will save you THOUSANDS each year. Remember, college isn’t too far off in your child’s future! Let’s start saving for that today!
